Mrs. R. D. Rajapakse

Director – Sri Lanka

Graduated from the University of Peradeniya of Sri Lanka and joined the Sri Lanka Foreign Service in 1994.

She has served at Sri Lankan Missions in Pakistan, Germany, Myanmar and South Korea as well as being attached to a number of Divisions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka including the SAARC Division, where she served as Director. Before joining the SAARC Secretariat on 1st January 2009, she was Director – East Asia and Pacific Division at the Ministry.

At the SAARC Secretariat, she is working as Director – Human Resource Development, Security Aspects and Culture (HSC) Division.
